The first photo meetup of the year, hosted by Save the Creatives foundation, Co.Lab Studios, and Janet Johnson Owner of @poolshoot_host, was a huge success. The event brought together a diverse group of photographers of all skill levels, from hobbyists to professionals.
The event began with a warm welcome from Barion McQueen founder of Save the Creatives Foundation followed by Angel Martinez of Co.Lab Studios, they shared their common vision about bringing creatives together to collaborate and connect. The location was both beautiful and easy to photograph. With the hospitality of Janet and her husband, it was easily a 5 Star experience. They had prepared the grounds for an amazing photo event. The photographers were then given a tour of the location. This gave them a chance to check out the different angles and lighting conditions.
After the tour, the photographers were split into groups and given a chance to practice their skills. They were able to photograph some great influencers and local models throughout the event. Practicing their poses and utilizing lighting to create their very own looks. The photographers were encouraged to experiment with different shutter speeds, aperture settings, and lens options to capture the dynamic movements of the models.
In between the sessions, the photographers could review their photos and share tips and tricks with each other. Throughout the day, the event was guided by professionals from Co.Lab Studios and Save the Creatives Foundation, who shared the best practices, and technical knowledge and helped the photographers to achieve their desired results.
Angel, Darenia, Frantz, and Barion were all available to mentor and give tips to the photographers and models. They provided techniques and equipment that assisted in capturing create photos.
The event concluded with a group photo of all the photographers and a warm thank you from @Poolshoots_host Janet Johnson. They were invited back to host their very one session.
Overall, the first photo meetup event of the year was an excellent opportunity for photographers to improve their skills, connect with other each other, and capture unique and dynamic photos. The partnership between Save the Creatives Foundation, Co.Lab Studios, and @PoolShoot_host , helped to bring together photographers of all levels to learn, practice, and share their passion for photography.

The sky is the limit. Thankyou for always being so welcoming and thankyou so much for everything you all do for the creative world. It is such a huge blessing to see what you guys are doing and an even bigger blessing being able to be a part of it. Every single person brings something special to the table and it is just beautiful to see it all come together. Much love ❤️
So honored to be part of such a successful pool photo meet!! One of the most valuable lessons I've learned from Angel and Barion is the importance of giving back to the community through the foundation.
